- Degree holder in Media, Communication, Design, Cultural related subjects
- 3 yrs exp. in conducting research in film or culture-related fields
Job requirements:
- Degree Holder in Film/Television Studies, Media/Communication Studies, Fine Arts, Design, Cultural Studies, Humanities, or relevant subjects;
- At least 3 years working experience in conducting research in film or culture-related fields;
- Good knowledge of Hong Kong cinema;
- Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and good command of English;
- Adept at using word-processing computer software of Word, Excel, Access, etc. and proficiency in Chinese and English data entry;
Responsibilities:
- To search from 1942-1949 and 1990-1999 local newspaper, magazines and other relevant documentation for the research project. Also, to make copies of all found research materials and to organize the compilation of all useful information into files according to film titles;
- To help search and verify newspapers, magazines and other relevant documentations for Hong Kong Filmmakers Search;
- To provide research and logistics support such as compiling various film list, collecting documentations verifying facts for different research and publication projects; and
- To perform any other related duties assigned by the Research & Editorial Unit including administrative duties if necessary
