- Degree in Conservation/Chemistry/ Materials Science/ Materials Engineering
- Postgraduate Degree OR At least 1 year full time internship/ work experience
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Conservation, Applied Chemistry/ Chemistry , Materials Science, Materials Engineering or equivalent
- CRE: Eng Level-2 & Chin Level-1 OR DSE: Eng Level-5 & Chin Level-4
- PC Skills : MS word, excel, ppt , and Chinese word processing
- At least 1 year full time internship/ work experience in research and development or laboratory work OR
- Desirably possess a postgraduate degree in Conservation, Applied Chemistry/ Chemistry , Materials Science, Materials Engineering or equivalent
Responsibilities
- To assist with the conservation treatment on textiles
- To prepare materials and assist with exhibition display
- To assist with exhibition mounting and installation of museum collections
- To input inspection &/ treatment records into collection management system and prepare monthly report for documentation
- To provide any other services as required by the Office
