- Degree in Chinese Language, Translation or related disciplines
- At least 2 yrs full-time exp. in Chinese editorial OR English to Chinese translation work, including 1 year of cultural-related working exp.
Job requirements:
- Degree in Chinese Language, Translation or related disciplines
- At least 2 years full-time working experience in Chinese editorial OR English to Chinese translation work, including 1 year of cultural-related working experience in editorial/translation is preferred
- Experience in managing graphic design and production requirements and the ability to follow through the entire procedure for the production of Publications
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
- Good knowledge in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Access
- Proficiency in Chinese and English data entry
Responsibilities:
- To review and proofread Chinese articles submitted by freelance writers and translators for online publication, including newsletters and special edition
- To proofread and draft preliminary Chinese text for webpages, promotional materials and social media platforms related to research and editorial work
- To attend the pre- and post-screening talks and prepare Instagram posts for social media platforms and newsletter
- To compile and manage the Chinese databases for information on films
- To support the production of all publications and perform any other related duties assigned
