- Higher Dip. in Photography or related plus 5 yrs+ exp.;
- OR 15 yrs photography/videography exp.
- Competed Secondary 5 education
Job requirements:
- Competed Secondary 5 education, or equivalent; and attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 5 standard;
- Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Photography or related disciplines with at least 5 years relevant working experience; OR 15 years of solid photography/videography experience;
- Having museum/art gallery digital photography and lighting is an advantage;
- Solid experience in working in a studio environment; professional experience as photo or digital technician in a photography studio;
- Solid experience with digital video shooting technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere Pro CC and After Effects);
- High technical proficiency in Photoshop CC and related software;
- Knowledge in colour management and soft proofing in RGB workflow;
- Working knowledge of using large format camera (Hasselbad), PhaseOne and Broncolor systems;
- Experience with digital asset and file management
Responsibilities:
- To carry out studio photography and produce high quality images of Chinese antiquities, Chinese and Western paintings, sculpture, ceramic etc.;
- To create imagery in studio and location for exhibitions and extension activities;
- To carry out video and time lapse shooting and editing;
- Responsible for photo calibration, editing and photo retouching;
- To keep accurate shooting records and perform quality assurance on all images and videos;
- To manage and maintain photographic and video archives;
- To maintain efficient workflows for in-house design teams and curatorial staff to meet demanding requirements, fostering productive image output and;
- To maintain photographic and audio visual equipment and photo studio
