Job requirements:
- Degree holder; major in Film/TV Studies, Media/Communication Studies, Fine Arts, Media Arts or equivalent subjects will be an advantage
- At least one-year full-time work experience in galleries or cultural sectors
- Working experience in Museum or Archive is an advantage
- Experience in handling artefacts, exhibition design, project/exhibition coordination, preferably in arts or cultural sectors, especially film industry is preferred
- Able to use Photoshop and Illustrator of other equivalent professional software for drafting floor plan for the thematic exhibition is an advantage
- Knowledge in drafting floor plan for exhibition
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere and Chinese Word Processing
Responsibilities:
- To support selection of artefacts for exhibitions, such as transportation of artefacts, communication with donors and storage checking
- To assist in clearing copyright, loaning and returning of exhibits, to communicate with conservators to conduct artefact inspection, liaising with film companies, designers, fabricator, video artists, etc.; lining up technical supports and fabrication work, etc.
- To research on paper, audio-visual materials and artefacts related to exhibitions and to write up text for exhibitions and publications; including editing and proofreading
- To perform other duties assigned by the supervisors
