- Bachelor Degree + 3 yrs working exp
Job requirements:
- Education level: Bachelor degree or above in English Language, Translation or related disciplines
- At least 3 years working experience in English editorial or Chinese to English translation work
- At least 1 year working experience in editorial/translation is preferred
- Experience in managing graphic design and production of books is preferred
- Proficiency in both written and verbal Chinese and English
- Solid computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Chinese word processing
Responsibilities:
- Edit the English texts of publications including fact checking and research
- Write English texts for publications
- Translate articles mainly from Chinese to English
- Proofread English articles
- Compile and manage the English database for information on Hong Kong films
- Support the production of publication and assist editorial works such as editing English Instagram posts
