Job requirements:
- Degree Holder in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science or equivalent discipline
- At least 2 years of packaging structural engineering experience
- Sound knowledge of engineering systems, packaging materials & technologies
- Good command of both written & spoken English & Chinese (including Mandarin)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel / TEAMS / PowerPoint / Outlook) applications
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support packaging initiatives on primary, secondary & tertiary level from product development to final delivery
- Work closely with merchandisers, suppliers and printers on all packaging related topics like space-optimized packaging, store/online packaging standards, sustainable packaging solutions
- Review packaging and resolve issues including claims raised by customers
- Conduct materials and cost analysis, provide packaging input to identify the best packaging alternatives for the products
