- Degree holders with 5 yrs exp. in English editorial OR Translation Work ; in which at least 1 yr of film-related working exp
Job requirements:
- Degree holders in English Language, Translation or related disciplines;
- At least 5 years’ experience in English editorial OR Translation Work ; in which at least 1 year of film-related working experience in editorial/ translation is required;
- Some experience in managing graphic design and production requirements
- Good command in spoken and written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint and English & Chinese typing
Responsibilities:
- To edit the English texts
- To write up English texts
- To translate articles mainly from Chinese to English
- To proofread English articles contributed by freelance writers and translators engaged
- To compile and manage the English databases for the information on Hong Kong films
- To support the production of all HKFA publications and assist in all matters related to Archive’s editorial works
