Survey Officer Support

Job requirements:

Higher Diploma in Geomatics or a Diploma/Higher Certificate in Land Surveying and Cartography or equivalent;
WITH HKCEE or HKDSEE – Chinese Language and English Level 2 or above ;

Responsibilities:

To comply and manipulate the textual and graphical tree data in GIS format as submitted by service providers or contracts;
To carry out survey audits, perform regular checking and updates of the tree data under the GIS platform;
To prepare plans and sketches as derived from the geo-referenced tree dataset;
To carry out and conduct field survey to verify the position accuracy of submitted data;
To assist SM and LSE to monitor the Initial Tree Data Collection (ITDC) Stage 2 Contracts;
To provide technical support of the daily operations of the computing system of Vegetation Information System; and
To perform any other duties as assigned by SM and LSE
