- Degree in Chinese Language, Translation or related disciplines
- At least 2 yrs full-time exp. in Chinese editorial OR English to Chinese translation work
Job requirements:
- Degree in Chinese Language, Translation or related disciplines
- At least 2 years full-time working experience in Chinese editorial OR English to Chinese translation work, including 1 year of cultural-related working experience in editorial/translation is preferred
- Experience in managing graphic design and production requirements and the ability to follow through the entire procedure for the production of books
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
- Good knowledge in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Access
- Proficiency in Chinese and English data entry
Responsibilities:
- To edit the Chinese texts of the publications including fact checking and research
- To write up Chinese texts for the publications and translate articles mainly from English to Chinese
- To proofread Chinese articles contributed by freelance writers and translators engaged
- To compile and manage the databases for information on films
- To support the production of all publications and perform any other related duties assigned
