Job requirements:
- Degree holder in Theatre and Entertainment Arts (preferably majoring in Stage and/or Technical Management) from the HKAPA or equivalent
- At least 12 years’ experience in theatrical venue technical management senior position and/or senior position in project and event management in major performance venues or major arts companies, of which at least 1.5 years’ experience in supervising and monitoring renovation projects and systems installations in performing arts venue
- Have work experience equivalent to supervisory level in performing arts venue under LCSD within the past two years
- Possess valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate issued by Construction Industry Council
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe, MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word processing
Responsibilities:
- To conduct research and draft specifications, plan for the renovation of the stage facilities and equipment, conduct procurement and replacement of stage equipment for upgrading/enhancement of stage technical facility provision and to liaise with the contractors regarding the related works
- To provide technical support and advice on theatre renovations and new-build projects
- To oversee and co-ordinate with consultants and contractors the progress of installation, test and commissioning of facilities/equipment, and liaise with suppliers and provide logistics support for installation
- To vet the submitted operational manual, instructions and plan; follow up submitted document and clarify both technical and non-technical ambiguities with suppliers and prepare progress report and follow up those rectification
- To prepare/update technical data, equipment list, inventory record and to prepare/update technical drawings of the venues
- To coordinate with other sub-sections and service contractors of the venue in venue operation and to carry out any other duties related to stage management and operation as assigned
