Job requirements:
- Degree Holder or equivalent
- WITH HKDSEE – English Language – Level 5 or above or Chinese Language – Level 4 or above
- OR CRE – English Language – Level 2 and Chinese Language – Level 1
- Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English PC Knowledge in MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word-processing
- Fresh Graduate will be considered
Responsibilities:
- To act as the stocktaking coordinator in the full-scale stocktaking exercise of film materials collections
- To retrieve and prepare stocktaking records sheets for stocktaking
- To work in pair with film technician to perform stocktaking of film materials collections items at on-site and off-site stores, perform on-site visual inspection, locate and check the physical existence and conditions of items, and record any irregularities found. Personnel will be required to work in the cold stores(4°C to 18°C with relative humidity 30%-40%), off-site stores indifferent locations and other venues as well as relocating collections among the locations according to museum and archival standard;
- To perform follow up work of any unfound/unlisted items and items with irregularities;
- To update records and prepare reports related to stocktaking exercise; and
- To perform any other store management, collections relocation and preservation duties as assigned
