Job requirements:
- Higher Diploma in Textiles and Clothing or related disciplines
- At least 10 years garment merchandising experience, preferably experience in handling Japanese brands
- Knowledgeable in woven apparels
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Japanese (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N2 or above)
- Willing and able to travel overseas
- Candidates with less experience will considered as Assistant Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the merchandising team and work closely with the factory to ensure the production and services can be delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Responsible for inventory control, risk, logistics and purchasing management
- Monitor and forecast the worldwide ongoing purchasing trends to minimize the total cost in order to maintain a competitive position
- Manage assigned ad-hoc jobs in relation to procurement and supply chain activities and occasional travel is required if needed
