- Degree holder, majoring in Computer Science
- 4 yrs of working exp. in archive, museum or library related fields
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- At least 4 years working experience in archive, museum or library related fields and with at least 3 years working experience in Archive/Museum/Library computerized management system enhancement
- Knowledge of archival material arrangement and description procedures and procedures
- Knowledge and experience in handling archival materials and archival training
- Knowledge of Hong Kong film history
- Proficiency in Chinese and English word-processing
- Good command of Chinese and English
Responsibilities:
- To arrange archival materials, such as classify the materials according to its physical appearance and contents and counter-check with the existing items in the collection and assign accession numbers and label for each item
- To describe archival materials according to RDA and AACRII with MARC format in the MCMS
- To complement the description of English bibliographic records of archival materials
- To assist in the enhancement, production testing and users education of the MCMS, including collect feedback, additional requirements from users and review feasibility for system enhancement from the users’ angle
- To perform any other duties as assigned by seniors
