Programme Management Assistant – (HKSAR)

  • Normal Working Hours: 09:30am-06:30pm (Mon to Fri)
  • CRE is acceptable
  • 3 yrs. exp. in the field of venue management/ venue operations

Job requirements:

  • Degree holder in Advertising/ Communication/ Cultural Studies/ Social Sciences/ Public Relations or related fields or equivalent;
  • Have good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Level 5/ Grade C or above in Chinese Language and English Language of HKDSE/ HKAL
  • OR CRE – Use of English and Chinese – Level 2
  • At least 3 years’ full-time post-qualification working experience in the field of venue management/ venue operations. Working in government offices is preferable.
  • Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word-Processing

Responsibilities:

  • To engage in research on the local and overseas professional performing arts scene, including but not limited to performance with application of advanced technology, to support the office’s programme planning for reaching out the audience; assist the manager in liaising and negotiating with these artists/agents on terms of engagement; and keep track of concurrent trend and activities of different art forms
  • To assist the Manager in providing logistics support including drafting contracts, ticket prices, seating configuration and seating plans for programmes; and arrange the necessary technical/stage services by liaising with backstage office and potential service providers to facilitate the smooth operation of programmes/ events presented by the office
  • To conduct research on demography and development of East Kowloon district as well as potential collaborators, including but not limited to artists/ arts groups and community organizations, so as to assist the Manager to draw up programme plan with programmes for community and the neighbourhood;
  • To develop creative contents and marketing strategies for social media/ digital platforms for the office; and prepare publicity materials for each venue based programmes/ events and to liaise with other departments/ organizations in respect of promotion and publicity of such programmes/ events;
  • To assist the Manager arranging tender exercises and carrying out contract management duties to monitor effect delivery of services contracts;
  • To perform any other duties assigned by senior officers
